Staff Therapist, Serving BC and Western Canada Families

Michelle began her journey as a mother’s helper at the age of 12 spending her weekends and summers child-minding for mothers of multiples. Michelle went on to study social sciences and child psychology at Queen’s University as her path rolled into family support worker and community program developer. She went on to complete her Master’s of Education in Counselling Psychology at UBC and trained as a Play Therapist. She is a parenting expert in Positive Discipline and has completed numerous courses in somatic experiencing, trauma-informed counselling, attachment and the neurobiology of healing through play and art. Along the way Michelle has become a parent to three wonderful children who cease to amaze her and teach her more about herself than all her training programs combined.
